We know it’s important that your order arrives smoothly. The good news is that you can sometimes manage parts of your delivery through your Amazon tracking page once your parcel has been dispatched.
Once your parcel has been dispatched, your Amazon Shipping tracking page is the best place to check your delivery and see what options are available.
What you may be able to do
Depending on your parcel and where it is in the journey, you may be able to:
Add delivery instructions, such as gate codes or directions
Choose a safe place
Ask for delivery to a neighbour
Move your delivery to another day
View your estimated delivery window
- Check delivery photos or delivery details once your parcel has arrived
How to manage your Amazon delivery
Open your Amazon Shipping tracking link.
You’ll usually find this in your dispatch email or text message.
Log in to Amazon.
For the most delivery options, log in using the Amazon account linked to the same email address or phone number used when placing your Untamed order.
Open your tracking page.
Once you’re on the tracking page, look for the “Manage your delivery” section.
Click “Delivery instructions”.
This is where you can add helpful notes for the driver, such as gate codes, flat numbers, directions, or where the parcel should be left if you’re not home.
Choose your preferred delivery option.
You may be able to select a safe place, such as an enclosed porch, or ask for the parcel to be left with a neighbour.
Add any extra details.
Use the instruction box to make things clear, for example:
“Please leave behind the side gate.”
“Please ring flat 4.”
“Please leave with number 12 if we’re not in.”
Click “Save”.
Your updates will be saved for that delivery address where available.
How to update saved delivery instructions
You can also manage delivery instructions from your Amazon Shipping account.
Open the Amazon Shipping tracking page.
Log in to Amazon.
Click the menu in the top-right corner.
Choose “Manage addresses”.
Find the delivery address linked to your order.
Click “Update delivery instructions”.
Add or change your safe place, neighbour, or driver notes.
Click “Save”.
Can I change my delivery day?
Sometimes, yes.
If the option is available for your parcel, you’ll see a reschedule option on the Amazon tracking page. Follow the prompts to choose one of the available dates.
This option may only appear at certain stages of the delivery journey, so it’s worth checking your tracking page as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Why can’t I see all the options?
Amazon only shows the options available for your parcel at that exact stage of delivery.
Some options may not appear if:
The parcel is already too far along in transit
A delivery attempt has already been made
The parcel is being delivered by a third-party carrier through Amazon Shipping
You’re not logged in to the Amazon account linked to the same email or phone number used at checkout

Amazon’s recipient guidance confirms these options are linked to the tracking page and the customer’s logged-in Amazon account.
